Membership of the Folklore Society is by subscription to our prestigious journal Folklore, which is published for the Society by Taylor and Francis.

Frequency: Folklore is published in three issues per year.

Household Membership: £50 / US $90
(Two members of the same household receive all the other benefits of membership if they share a copy of Folklore)

(Students, Pensioners and Unwaged. Proof of status required)

Note to New Members/Returning Lapsed Members

When sending your first subscription (or a renewal after a break), please specify whether your subscription is for the current year's Folklore, or an advance payment for the following year.

The subscription year runs from January to December, and subscription renewal notices are sent out in the autumn for the following year.
